KERN Microtechnik at EMO, Germany: Hall 12, Booth D60
We are looking forward to meeting you in Hannover!
At EMO 2017, we will put two high-productivity machining centers based on the KERN Micro in the spotlight at Stand D 60 in Hall 12: the fully automated "KERN Micro with Erowa Robot Compact", and the ultra-compact "KERN Micro Pro concept machine", which are specially designed for industrial series production. In addition, two of our technology partners will show why they rely on KERN via live demos at their stands.
KERN Micro - The platform for the highest demands
KERN machining centers are recognized worldwide for their ability to achieve maximum precision in the nanometer domain. With the 5-axis KERN Micro concept machine, KERN will demonstrate an ultra-compact and cost-optimized model for industrial series production, which offers significant potential in its field of application. When it comes to productivity and quality, users cannot afford to compromise, and the new machining center will also be flexibly expandable. This makes the KERN Micro Pro ideally suited to meeting special requirements.
In addition, we will show our ultra-compact KERN Micro in action, which has already established itself in the market and proven itself in many industries. Thanks to its five simultaneously controllable axes, even complex parts can be milled in a single pass. When assisted by the Erowa Robot Compact 80, KERN will prove that even delicate products can be produced in serial production with nanoscale precision.
Also meet our technology partners in Hall 25/B01 and Hall 4/F10!
However, trade visitors at EMO 2017 will also be able to see the results of modern KERN machining centers outside Hall 12. Two of KERN's technology partners, GO2cam International and Emuge Franken, will also showcase the results that can be achieved using state-of-the-art KERN machines via live demos at their stands.
At Stand B01 in Hall 25, GO2cam International will present a world-exclusive and machine-optimized milling strategy based on predictive roughing and finishing cycles. To prove that this not only works in theory, these CAM specialists will let the chips fly for the first time at EMO via live machining - on a KERN Evo.
At Stand F10 in Hall 4, Emuge-Franken will showcase, among other things, the Franken Pagoda mold cutter, which was manufactured on a KERN Micro. Previously, it was only possible to produce this tool using grinding machines. In future, however, the innovative tool manufacturer will use a KERN Micro to produce a significantly optimized and improved tool. As a result, this complex tool will be even more powerful and cost-effective to produce.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the EMO!
