In order to provide our customers with a quick solution to all customer support inquiries, our support department is divided into three service levels that build on each other. The structuring by 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support enables us to handle each customer request individually and as efficiently as possible.

All service requests are bundled in our first service level, whether by telephone or via our e-mail address kern.service@ametek.com. Our employees record your request in the ticket system and collect important data for fast processing. After an initial assessment, we prioritize your request and work with you to resolve minor issues to completion. In more complex cases, we hand over your request to the best contact person for your machine type.

To minimize waiting times, our trained technicians can directly access your Kern machine control system worldwide via a secure internet connection. Components and controls are checked, a diagnosis is made and the problem can be solved. You always decide when our technician has access to your machine. The Kern machine support "Teleservice" can be retrofitted on many Kern machining centers.

Kern Repair

Often, our experts can answer your questions on the phone or by e-mail. If your concern can only be solved on site, we will set off as soon as all spare parts are available. At your site, our technician will ensure that your machine is going back to work again asap. Fast and efficient. By using high-precision measuring equipment and with the help of sophisticated calibration routines, we bring your machining center back into the highest precision range.
