For standard spare parts that are in stock, we expect a processing time of approx. 1-2 days until the goods leave our premises.
For special spare parts that are not in stock, the delivery date depends on the availability of our suppliers. We are happy to inform you about the current delivery time.
Our KERN service works with a ticket system. Each of your inquiries or orders is assigned to a special ticket ID. This ID facilitates communication between you and us, as everything is documented in this Ticket ID. It is therefore important that you always specify your Ticket ID as a reference.
Our in-house telephone support is carried out completely by very experienced and well-trained KERN service technicians. We analyse your problem and find a solution as quickly as possible.
Solution on site
During a service visit, our service technicians will be on site within the shortest possible time, after consultation with you, in order to rectify the fault.
Our regular maintenance of your KERN machine guarantees longevity, reliable operation and high value retention. In addition, maintenance prevents more expensive repairs, protects you from longer downtimes and reduces production downtime costs to a minimum.

Basically, we are not a supplier for turning operations, but we manufacture parts that would initially be assumed to be in the turning area, but which are in our area due to special requirements with regard to microtechnology and accuracy.
Before each start of an order, a part of each drawing dimension is checked and documented. (internal initial sampling) When all dimensions are within tolerance, the series is started. During series production, test plans regulate the measuring frequency, and SPC evaluations can be generated via our Zeiss PiWeb.

Kern himself trains industrial mechanics and mechatronics technicians and exclusively employs skilled personnel on the processing machines.
This is very dependent on the scope of processing and can range from 3 weeks to 12 weeks, depending on the requirement.
Kern produces series from 50 to 50,000 pieces, including the necessary prototypes. In the area of eroding, smaller quantities can also be offered.
Our machining spectrum ranges from micro parts smaller than 1mm up to component sizes of approx. 200x200x100mm.

OpenMind provides us with all features of programming, up to 5-axis simultaneous milling.
In series production, we can maintain tolerances of (+ /-) 2µm measured on the component. In addition, our entire production is air-conditioned.
In the case of machine investment, we offer you the opportunity to take over the manufacturing processes of parts production.
